PATRICK O’BRIAN’S GRAVE

Patrick O'Brian (1914- 2000). British author, almost all his books were written in Collioure where he arrived in 1949. After having worked on many translations, he wrote here Captain Jack Aubrey and Dr Stephen Maturin's adventures from which yhe film "Masters and Commanders" was produced. He died in 2000 and lies in Collioure's new cemetery.
