– From Tuesday 24 to Sunday 29 June 2025
Organised by the Association des Amis d’Alain Marinaro, the 17th edition of the “Piano à Collioure” festival celebrates classical music and young piano talent.
The International Piano Competition, the highlight of the event, will bring together pianists under the age of 26 from all over the world. The tests will take place from 24 to 27 June at 5pm in the Cultural Centre, under the watchful eye of a high-level jury chaired by Daniel Tosi. The final will take place on Sunday 29 June at 5pm, with a performance of Mozart’s 23rd Concerto in A major, accompanied by an ensemble conducted by Timothé Tosi.
Prizes awarded :
– Alain Marinaro Grand Prize: €4,000
– 2nd Prize: €2,000
– Best performance of the compulsory work (Durliat): €1,000
– Audience prize: €1,000
The members of the jury will also perform in recital:
– 24 June, 9pm, Square Caloni: Sandrine Erdely-Sayo
– 25 June, 9pm, cultural centre: Gabriel Durliat
– 26 June, 9pm, cultural centre: Lluis Rodriguez Salva
– 28 June, 9pm, cultural centre: Jonas Vitaud
Free entertainment:
– 24 June, 5pm: Inauguration at Place du 18 juin
– 25 to 29 June, 11.30am: “Festival Info” in Place du 18 juin
– 26 & 27 June, 9.30am: Musical breakfasts at the Casa Païral hotel
– 26 June, 2pm: Concert at the Collioure EHPAD nursing home
– 27 June, 11.30am: Entertainment at Jules Ferry school
