ANTIQUE FAIR AT THE CHÂTEAU ROYAL

The antique dealers will be holding their fair at the Château Royal of Collioure from 31 October to 3 November 2024

The town of Collioure is pleased to announce the return of the antique fair to the Château Royal after a few years' absence. The ‘Salon des antiquaires’, organised by the Town Council and the Departmental Council, will be taking place in a new legal format in the historic building that was the summer residence of the Kings of Majorca, taking over from the well-known ‘Automne des antiquaires’ created in 1993 by the then Traders' Association (UCAC).

Lovers of art, antiques, antique jewellery and furnishings will therefore have a date with us over the All Saints' weekend. ‘This important weekend for our economic, cultural and tourist players is part of a post-season visitor policy which, backed by the ‘Favourite Village of the French’ label, is a godsend for the town and its economy, and we have a duty to make it sustainable over time, in line with our role as concession holder, the deadlines for which have been contractually agreed with the Departmental Council over 3 years,’ says Mayor Guy LLOBET.
