LE PETIT FESTIVAL DE LA CÔTE VERMEILLE
From 23 to 27 August, discover a popular and poetic approach to the ecological question at the 4th edition of the festival on the theme of ‘Fire’.
On Saturday 24 August, the festival takes place in Collioure. On 23, 25, 26 and 27 August, the festival takes place in the other towns on the Côte Vermeille (Cerbère, Port Vendres and Banyuls-sur-Mer).
Saturday 24 August in Collioure:
10 a.m.: Conference on ‘Witches’ at the Musée d'Art Moderne.
From 12 noon at the Château Royal: Opening of Benjamin Carbone's exhibition at midday, with a performance by the artist. Lecture by Clément Ménard, Director of the Musée de Tautavel, on Man's mastery of fire and a demonstration of how to light a fire as in cave times. Gaston Bachelard and Fire in Painting by Olivier Martinaud.
6.30pm: Fire Recital with Piano Voice by Michael Rudy Denis Lavant at the Collioure Bell Tower.
9.30pm: Open-air cinema on the Vora Mar beach in partnership with the Institut Jean Vigo in Perpignan – Film Les Tontons Flingueurs!
