As part of the Journées Nationales de l'Architecture (National Architecture Days), the Royal Château is being rediscovered… in building bricks, with an all-day workshop for the general public organised by La Briquette®.
Valentin Moignoux, a young designer of original Catalan models, will be presenting a prototype of the monument's façade for visitors to try out.
A classical guitar concert by Duo Archipel will round off the event at 5pm. Musicians Alexis Clerville and Timothée Vinour-Motta, both graduates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have won prizes in national and international competitions. Here, they perform a range of works that resonate with the architecture of the site and the exhibition ‘A Common Soul, Defensive Medieval Architecture of the Crown of Aragon’, which runs until 12 January 2025.
