THEATRE WORKSHOP IN COLLIOURE

• From Sunday 20 to Friday 25 April 2025
• At the Collioure cultural center
• 6-day course – approx. 36 hours
• For adults aged 16 and over

Take part in the Art'Venture theater company's theater workshop in Collioure!

Students will work with texts from scenes inMolière's plays.

Each student will work on his or her own role, building up the character in the scene. All trainees will work on rhythm, always in a troupe spirit, in so-called choral scenes.

The workshop will culminate in a public performance on Friday April 25 at 6:00 pm.

Trainees will learn how to work as an actor: listen to your partner. Listening to the director. Letting go and freeing your body. Building your voice. Live the acting situation, be and not do. Develop your imagination to better build your character…

The course is divided into several stages:

• Discovering the scenes to be performed
• Group cohesion
• Letting go
• Improvisations
• Character building
• Troupe rehearsal for show
• Public performance

The workshop includes shared accommodation in an apartment in Collioure.
