Throughout the year, temporary exhibitions and the museum’s collection, which is largely made up of works by the artist Jean Peské, who donated them to the commune, will delight and challenge you, and above all help you discover the art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
2 – On leaving, turn left into the park and climb up to La Gloriette, Senator Pams’ former smoking room. Here you can enjoy the first panoramic view over the bay of Collioure. A little higher up is the majestic Cortine Mill, a 14th-century grain mill converted into an oil mill, which will be your second panorama.
3 – Go around it to the right and follow the path to Fort Saint Elme, built by Charles V in the 16th century. From Fort Saint Elme you have an exceptional view of Collioure, the coastline and the Roussillon plain.
